To improve these things, were going to finish off the sound on soundtrack and then edit the production films for the movie and the directors into the film just before or after the film.

Filming
Whilst filming slight changes to the storyboard were made, instead of just having the killer come into the room and murder Jake, we inserted a scene showing Jake looking around his house in search of the mysterious sound he heard, in doing this we were able to create more fear and tension. The basic story line has been adhired to, but minor adjustments were made to increase believability and highten tension.

The scene firstly begins with the phone ringing and then the girl picks it up, this is one way sound is used on and off set as there is a conversation happening on the phone, after the girl puts the phone down, it changes to a establishing shot of the house. It then goes to a close up of the Stove and the girl putting popcorn onto it, this is shown through a Shot of what the actor is doing, another way in which the Director shows its a horror, is through the use of props, as the Girl actor carries on talking to the guy on the phone, she begins to fiddle with Knifes, after this its a tracking shot of her walking to the living room when it ten turns into a close up of her, as he finds out something bad form the man on the Phone,
My Bloody Valentine: Opening Scene
This is an old version of this film however it still shows the same use of surrounding areas to create horror like Jeepers Creepers did. There are a variety of camera angles used to establish the shot, such as low angle, high angle, close ups, and many still establishing shots. The use of sound was the sound of echoing as they walked highlighting the frail state in which the mine was in, emphasising the danger they were in just being there. This opening scene also showed the names of directors, editors, cast and producers.
Halloween Opening Scene
This opening scene highlights the family's relationship and introduces each family member individually. There was not a variety of shots encoperated only using close ups to portray the emotions held by the family and how they felt towards each other. The mese en scene shows a typical working class american family in the south, the conflict within the family is already evident and places worry in the audiences mind as it is clear something could lead on from such a mess of a family. The only use of sound is the child screaming creating more aggression and tension within the scene, no use of music is used as of yet.
